I Want To Get Lost

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” – Acts 4:13

The rulers and elders were amazed by these two unlearned men who were not afraid of standing before them. No fear! Only Bondness! The boldness was due to the key factor in this verse; the impact of Jesus’ ministry in their lives. The rulers and elders could tell that these two men had intimate fellowship with Jesus because it reflected in their speech and action in the midst of a problem. It’s not just that they had heard words spoken by Jesus and memorized the conversation. It’s that they clearly had INTIMATE FELLOWSHIP with Jesus that affected their lives with supernatural knowledge. The world does not understand the problem, so they try to solve it with their knowledge.

Their knowledge just makes a mess and causes confusion. The blessing for us as believers is that God is the author of clarity amidst the confusion!! The clarity of God replaces fear with boldness, removes the problem to reveal the solution, and erases the confusion to have Jesus stand alone. But Wait! It only comes through intimate fellowship with Jesus. When you get intimate with Him, time and the things of this world fade away. You cannot be bold if you have no intimacy. We serve an amazing God who is ready and able to do amazing things, but He needs daily one on one time with you.

Meditation: What impacts you the most will require the most time in your day causing you to get lost in time. Get Lost In Jesus!
