SURROUNDED WITH FAVOUR
Day 7: Psalm 5:12
There are many things we look for when we pray with the hopes that we can receive from the Lord that which we need to function through the day. One of the blessed things we receive from the Lord is that which comes automatically because we are children of God – FAVOUR. What a blessing to know that we have received God’s favour. Out of all the things we receive from the Lord, this ranks high alongside mercy, grace, forgiveness, and power. It is reserved for all those who are faithful to Him.
Favour does 4 things.
- It positions our petitions before God when we raise them up in prayer
- It protects us from the enemy when he tries to attack us
- It identifies us as those who have not been alienated, isolated, or deserted
- It comforts us with the reassurance that we have nothing to fear because of the favour of God.
Rejoice knowing that God’s favour is not just with you, but it surrounds you.
(Prayer): Lord Jesus. I thank You for Your favour that surrounds me. I rejoice knowing that the attacks of the enemy cannot have dominion over me because you have surrounded me with Your favour. You already know about anything that tries to come my way. Fathers is do not speak with my head down but with my head held high today. It is held high not because of who I am, but because I look to You. Only You are worthy of keeping me this day. No one else is worthy of all the praise. In Jesus’s name, amen!
