Day 4:

(Scripture)

Philippians 4:4-6

Evening Devotion

Rejoice! It’s a great word to have in Sunday morning or when things are going well. It’s not the word we want to have when things are not going the best. Yet, Paul says to rejoice ALWAYS. This is the word we need to hear in our everyday situations because the moment we forget about rejoicing we listen to the enemy and his plans of disaster for us.

We must look at rejoicing like exercising. It is the necessary action that strengthens you and prepares you for any circumstance. When you are prepared to rejoice in anything, you are willing to face the giants because you know the result. Rejoice! It is more than just for Sunday or the good times. It’s for everyday and at all times!

(Prayer)

Lord. Thank You for the good times. Thank You for the trying times. They are my times of strength when I get to focus on what You have for me and see the situation as a time to build. Keep me. Keep my tongue. Keep my mind because I know the enemy wants to use any avenue to take away what you have for me.

I declare in Jesus’ Name that my smile will not leave my face. I declare that my praise will not leave my lips. I declare that Your word will not leave my mind. This I speak over myself and to myself.

In Jesus’ Name

Amen!
