Romans 12:1-12
Morning Devotion
Many of the worship to ancient false gods called for human sacrifices of either a virgin girl or newborn children. Today people are unknowingly continuing the sacrifice of unborn children to the false god “Molech”. Now we read about God calling for us to be living sacrifices. It sounds the same but it is drastically different because God is asking something more.
God wants our time, thoughts, eyes, hands, feet, ears, minds, and hearts. He wants our entire bodies to use for the Kingdom because He has plans in store that are far greater than we could comprehend. The world wants us to be like them but we must seek God’s plan for us within the Kingdom to make us the body and function as the church is supposed to function
(Prayer)
Today, we present ourselves to You as living sacrifices; purposing within ourselves to live and operate in this day with transformed minds. The world desires us to hold in the gifts You have given us, but we desire to speak forth that which You declare to us.
We ask You to speak to us regarding this generation because they are longing for an answer but seeking it through lies and dead ends. Speak to us so that we can function as the body and work according to Your plans.
We present ourselves and say if You can use anything, Lord. You can use me!!
