DECLARE HIS WORKS

Day 12: Psalm 66:16-20

David testifies of the works that God has done for him. The power of the testimony should never be ignored, nor should it be held back because it does not only tell what God has done, but it also declares who He is. We must be the same in our declarations of the works of the Lord. Especially knowing that when we pray, He hears us and does not turn away or withheld His mercy from us.

Imagine our lives if God never answered our prayers. Imagine our lives if God withheld His mercy. I am so glad that I do not have to imagine life like this because I know I would not be alive to share of His goodness. He hears us and He provides His mercy to us. Praise be to God our Father for these blessings.

(Prayer) Gracious and Merciful God of Heaven and Ruler over all. We thank You for these innumerable blessings that You have bestowed upon us Your children. In particular we thank You for hearing our prayers and for showing mercy towards us at times when we should deserve destruction. Where would we be if it was not for You?!

We pray for those who do not understand the value of the “Ear of God” and the “Mercy of Jesus”. Help us declare boldly who You are and what You have done so that the world can see and hear that there is no God like Jehovah! In Jesus’s name, amen!
