ONLY JESUS CAN
Day 10: Psalm 7:1
There are people who will tell you they are willing to help you in times of trouble, but their help is limited as to the depth of trouble and to only deliver. They cannot save. God has no limit to His help as He can both SAVE you from your enemies and DELIVER you out of the trouble you are in. Why, then, should we trust in another alongside Jesus? Our trust is based on the facts… only Jesus can save and deliver. Only Jesus!
(Prayer): Father. I come to You in the name of our Lord, Jesus. The enemy of our soul desires for us to have a backup plan in case we do not hear from You, but we rebuke any thought that tries to tell us to trust in another. We only trust in You because salvation and deliverance not only comes from You, but no one else can save and deliver like You.
God, we pray for this day. We will not believe the words of those who try to trap us or cause us to believe that we have no hope. We take You at Your word and trust that You have provided for us in this day and You will protect us throughout the day. Keep us from our enemies without and the enemy within. We trust in You alone. In Jesus’s name, amen!
