Acts 16:22-26
This passage shows the natural and supernatural operation of cause and effect. Paul and Silas were beaten and imprisoned for doing the work of the Lord. The enemy will never have a problem with you if you’re doing your own work. The enemy will never have a problem with you doing his work. The moment you work according to the operation of heaven, is when Satan has a problem.
They could’ve been upset for being thrown into prison, but they turned a rough situation into a church service. They didn’t care where they were. They didn’t care who was around. They knew the same. God who was in the fire with the Hebrew boys was also in the jail with them. They did not allow the situation to dictate that. Instead, they spoke to the situation and affected their surroundings because they knew who was in control.
As you rest tonight, remember who is in control. Just like Jericho’s walls came down with a praise, your prison wall will also come down when you praise!

Lord. I thank You for this day. You gave this day to me and I have given it back to You. Satan cannot claim the victory over me even in sleep. I declare that my sleep will be anointed and navigated by the thoughts of the Holy Spirit. I declare that I will receive full rest tonight and not have a restless night. I declare that my home is anointed and covered by the Hand of the Almighty God. Thank You Lord. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
