{"id":975,"date":"2025-10-16T08:11:13","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T13:11:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/riveroflifemc.org\/rolwpr58\/?p=975"},"modified":"2025-10-16T08:11:13","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T13:11:13","slug":"day-16-wait-on-his-strength","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riveroflifemc.org\/rolwpr58\/day-16-wait-on-his-strength\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 16: WAIT ON HIS STRENGTH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Wait on His Strength<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Day 16: Isaiah 40:29-31<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">There have been times when we\u2019ve been tired or drained spiritually. Sometimes we stay tired or weak because our focus was on the reason why we\u2019re drained instead of looking to the One who provides strength. Isaiah says that God has power for those who are weak. This means we have no business living spiritually weak knowing that God is our strength. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">At the same time, we have no business thinking we are strong in ourselves. Samson thought like this and did not realize that the strength of the Spirit of the Lord had departed from him. What do I do and how do I do it correctly? The key is in the beginning of verse 31 &#8211; Wait on the Lord! When you wait on Him, your spirit in renewed and strengthened. Waiting is not easy because it requires you to say no to all other sources of strength, but it is worth it. How do I do it? You wait in prayer. When you feel weak, pray for strength. When you feel tired, pray for strength. Pray and pray and pray. That\u2019s how you wait. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">(Prayer): Heavenly father! All power belongs to You. There is none like You. There are times when life drains all the energy out of us and we feel weak. Help us during these times o\u2019 God! We call on You asking for strength. I speak Your name in the midst of weakness that tries to overtake and overcome the joy inside of me. The Joy of the Lord will be my strength. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">I claim that I am renewed by the power of God, in Jesus\u2019 name. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">I claim that I am restored by the power of God, in Jesus\u2019 name. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">I claim that I am strong in the Lord, in Jesus\u2019 name. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">All that You promised me, I believe it.
