\nThe beliefs of River of Life Missionary Church are foundationally established in scripture. None of our beliefs come from man’s ideas or thoughts. The Beginning<\/strong>:

In the beginning, God created the heavens, the earth and all that lives upon it, including man and woman. There was a union between God and Man until sin came into the world and separated us from God. From this point, Man has been on a search for completion, happiness and comfort that can only be found in God ALONE.

(Genesis 1-3; John 3:16; Colossians 2:10)


<\/p>

God<\/strong>:

There is but one eternal, all powerful, all knowing and all present Triune God… Father – Son – Holy Spirit… who is the Creator and sustainer of all things.

(Deuteronomy 6:4-5; 1 Timothy 2:5)


<\/p>

Jesus Christ<\/strong>:

He is God incarnate. He was born in the flesh of a virgin birth, lived a sinless life, died to make atonement for the sins of all mankind, was buried in a borrowed tomb, was bodily resurrected and is now the Mediator at the right hand of the Father. He is assuredly coming with all power and Glory for His believing followers, and is the only Savior of mankind.

(John 1:1; 14; Titus 2:11-14; 1 John 4:10)


<\/p>

The Holy Spirit<\/strong>:

He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, regenerating all who repent of their sins and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. He sanctifies, empowers, teaches, guides and comforts the believers.

(John 16:7; 8:12-15)


<\/p>

The Bible<\/strong>:

The bible is the divinely inspired word of God and thus authoritative in all matters it addresses.

(2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20; 21)


<\/p>

Salvation<\/strong>:

This is the result of genuine repentance of sin and faith in the atoning work of Christ. It brings forgiveness to the penitent, makes him a partaker of the divine nature and gives him peace with God. This is called new birth.

(John 3:16; 1 John 1:9; Romans 10:9)


<\/p>

The Church<\/strong>:

We believe in the invisible and universal church as an organism. It is composed of all Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, its living Head and Sovereign Lord.

(Matthew 16:18; Hebrews 12:22-24)


<\/p>

The Rapture<\/strong>:

At a time during the Tribulation Period (before the Wrath of God is poured out on all the earth), Jesus will return for all those (dead\/ alive) who accepted Him as Lord and Savior and remove them from the earth to be with Him.
