Day 12

(Scripture)

Psalm 102:1-2;15-17

David petitioned God to hear his prayer so the nations would know that there is a God in Israel. The enemy wants us to pray to get an answer so that we will no longer go through the rough period or tough times. These verses remind us that it is not the period that we want to be removed. We want the perception of the people that believe God will not answer to be removed.

The name of the Lord was precious in these times so that people would not even say God’s name. We now use His name in slang and in vain. God’s name is no longer precious. May we return to this time when God’s name was seen as absolutely valuable in the ears of His people and the nations around us.

As you pray today, may God’s name rise among us so the people will know the name of the Lord.

(Prayer)

Father in heaven, I love You! Your name is like honey to my soul. I love to call on Your name. Today, I call on You to hear my cry in the midst of the heathen. Let the name of the Lord be heard and seen in their midst. They do not believe in You nor do they believe in the works of the Almighty God. They doubt You and question Your limitless power. Regard my prayer, O’ Lord, and let the cry of my heart fall on Your ears, so that men can see the impossible being done in my life.

Man functions on limited strength, limited knowledge, limited power, but You, O’ great King, are not bound by the limits of man. You function according to Your name and who I allow You to be in my life. God, I take off all the limits and restraints that my flesh may have built up against You, thinking I was protecting myself, and ask that You function at full strength in my life. Then the nations can see the impossible power of the impossible God in my possible life and know that there is no other name except the name of Jesus!

God of possibilities, do the impossible!

Amen!
